Emergencies can strike at any hour of the day or night. That’s why it’s absolutely essential that 24/7 shelter is open and available for our neighbours in need. Shelter provides vulnerable people with immediate care during one of the most stressful times in their life. It is a crucial safety net to keep people from sleeping on the street – a dangerous situation that can result in tragic or fatal outcomes.
