Summer Camp Job Opportunities

Job Summary: Hope Mission Summer Camps exist to provide a summer camp experience for children from mostly single parent, foster and group homes. We run on a pay-what-you-can registration fee and provide bus transportation from Edmonton and Calgary to our camps in order to reduce financial and transportation barriers for the families we serve. Hope Mission Summer Camps are focused on developing camper-counsellor relationships. Campers spend the day in their cabin groups. Cookouts, cabin group activities, meals, chapel times and devotions, and special activities all help to provide opportunities to have an impact on the campers that are with you for the week.

Thank you for considering Camp Hope, Hope Mission Summer Camp as a ministry option this summer! We hope
that you will prayerfully consider what God has for you this summer.
There is more to summer camp than bonfires, archery, and bike trails. Camp ministry asks you to be willing to
sacrifice personal interests for the betterment of the campers and your staff team. It demands that you be
committed to what God will call you to this summer and to what He wants to accomplish in your life and in the
lives of others through you. We would like to invite you to be part of what may be one of the hardest summers of
your life and one of the most rewarding.
Our facility is located on 100 acres of forest 20 minutes west of Calgary along Elbow River. We offer 6-day
overnight camps for children and youth ages 6-15. The camp is rustic with campers and counsellors staying in
cabins. Junior and intermediate camps are offered as well as youth Leadership Training scamp for ages 13-15.
Activities include hiking, camping skills, low ropes course, archery, crafts and wide games.
