Outreach Worker – The Hub – Hope Mission Calgary

Job Summary: As an outreach worker you will plan and lead afterschool programs and drop-in for children and youth at the Hope Mission’s Hub centre in Calgary. You will also assist with outreach to families through delivering frozen meals and food hampers and to schools through preparing and delivering bagged lunches. You will also help with social media posts and updates.

Hours of work: Monday – Friday 10am-6pm. As we work with children and youth afterschool, we may require later shifts (12-8pm) and weekend work on occasion.

Outreach Worker – Brightwood

Role Description: This role will cover a variety of responsibilities and requires high flexibility and excitement for running programs for campers as well as supporting with our food hamper program. During the summer months this role will shift in to a key leadership position as part of our summer programming. During the off season this role will support the Brightwood team with outreach to children, youth, and families who live near Brightwood Ranch through food hamper deliveries, maintaining a social media presence, supporting with administrative and planning tasks, and other tasks as needed.

Hours of work:
• 40 hours/week, shifts to be confirmed (TBC)
• Staff must be available to work evenings and weekends

Outreach Worker Fulltime  –
R. W. Tegler Youth Centre

Job Summary: As an outreach worker you will plan and lead afterschool programs and drop-in for children and youth at the Tegler Youth Centre. You will also assist with outreach to families through delivering frozen meals and food hampers and to schools through preparing and delivering bagged lunches. You will also help with social media posts and updates.

Hours of work: Mondays: 7am-3pm or 10am-6pm, Tuesday-Wednesday: 10am-6pm. Thursday& Friday 9am-5pm. As we work with children and youth afterschool, we may require later shifts (12-8pm) and weekend work on occasion.

Outreach Worker & Driver  –
R. W. Tegler Youth Centre

Job Summary: This contract position will support the School Nutrition team with preparing and delivering bagged lunches to partner schools as part of Hope Mission’s School Nutrition Program. As well, the team delivers weekly food hampers to families experiencing food insecurity.

Hours of work: Casual (with potential of becoming a FT position). Shifts may vary: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
