Shelter Intake Worker
Based at : Wetaskiwin
Job Summary: The Intake Worker will work directly with community members experiencing homelessness in Wetaskiwin, helping to provide them with emergency shelter and support services. The critical tasks of this position are to facilitate a warm, welcoming and supportive atmosphere, develop relationships and ensure that safety is maintained.
Hours of work:
Full Time:
Day positions: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, 4 days on and 4 days off
Night positions: 8:00 pm to 8:00 am, 4 days on and 4 days off
Administrative Assistant
Based at: Downtown Edmonton
Job Summary: Inputs information into our database system, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurately created and maintained. Assists collecting employees’ information and gets it ready for Payroll (Finance Department) and Human Resources, to ensure that employees are paid accurately at all times. Administers and monitors various staff related programs as required, to support functional and corporate objectives. Prepares standard and ad-hoc reports in order to provide managers and employees with accurate information when needed. Completes special projects as assigned by Management to ensure current and efficient processes, practices and procedures. Provides support to his/her team and performs other duties as assigned in order to contribute to the efficiency and service levels of the department. Assist in the implementation of new policies, best practices, programs, procedures and standards for the organization. Provide advice and recommendations on the effective structure and utilization of administrative and support staff. Participate in staff related projects as required, including health & safety programs, training plan and internal communications. Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary: Accurately and efficiently processing donations and information pertaining to Hope Mission donors while also providing an exceptional customer experience to the general public.

Janitorial Worker
Based at : Downtown Edmonton
Job Summary: The janitorial worker position is responsible for the sanitation of Hope Mission buildings, using chemicals, tools and machines to clean the buildings on a set schedule.

Head Cook
Based at : Brightwood Ranch Hope Mission
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Camp Cook to join our team and prepare delicious and nutritious meals for our campers, staff, and community programs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a talent for creating flavorful and diverse menus that cater to different dietary requirements. As a Head Cook, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and serving meals for large groups of people in a rustic outdoor setting.
Hours of work:
Full Time Permanent – 40 hrs per week (optional 30 hrs/week)

Summer Camp
Serving at camp is a rewarding experience for both those that serve at camp and the kids we serve. We are looking for staff serve in a variety of positions (counselors, first aid attendants, activity leaders etc) to help run overnight camps.
