Bringing hope to people who need it most.
Proactive outreach teams search out people who are in significant need of care and compassion.
When someone is in crisis, they don’t always know where to go to get the help they desperately need.
Help can feel inaccessible in the midst of a desperate situation. If someone is struggling with an addiction or dealing with significant mental health challenges, accessing help can seem next to impossible. It is easy to feel trapped – and the end result can be tragic.
“If it wasn’t for this place, I would probably be dead.”
Outreach teams actively build strong community relationships.
The 24/7 Rescue Vans actively provide mobile outreach to unhoused and vulnerable people in our community. Equipped with compassionate staff, they focus on people in non-emergency crisis situations who need support, care, and access to community resources. These non-judgmental services are inclusive, trauma-informed, and client-centred.
Our Community Outreach team supports business communities around Hope Mission through projects like garbage clean up, window washing, sidewalk pressure washing and snow removal. The Community Outreach team builds relationships with local business owners and explores other opportunities for support.
"I thank God that Hope Mission found me."
Outreach teams are essential to building strong relationships and investing in the hope and future of our communities.
