Kids & Youth Programs
Hundreds of children and youth participate in weekly programs with Hope Mission. Most of our programs are run at the Hub in Forest Lawn, while some are run in public schools. Children receive a meal, teaching, encouragement, and loving support from adult mentors.
Hope Begins with a Meal
We serve community meals on a regular basis at the Hub. We also provide hot school lunches in a number of schools. About 600 meals are served in schools each week. We also provide meals for our kids and youth programming at the Hub.
Preparing and serving meals are a great way to volunteer and contribute to our community.
At Camp Hope, at-risk kids glimpse a brighter future. Here, they can forget their fears and just be kids.
Trained staff are carefully chosen for their maturity, compassion and ability to reach out to each child. Kids learn that God loves them unconditionally, for who they are, each with their own unique gifts.
There are many opportunities for individuals and groups to volunteer with Hope Mission. Whether you want to serve food at a community meal, help run kids activities, or provide some other service, we’ll work with you to find an opportunity.
