For almost 100 years, Hope Mission has partnered with caring people like you to provide hot meals and life-changing care to vulnerable neighbours in cities across Canada.
Today, we’re continuing that mission for hurting and hungry neighbours right here in Victoria by serving nourishing meals and offering compassionate support to those who need it most.
We’re expecting to meet hundreds of hurting and hungry people through our rescue vans and outreach efforts. To make sure each person we encounter receives a hot meal, practical care, and compassionate support, we urgently need your help.

THE HOPE MISSION RESCUE VAN
Since 1929, Hope Mission has walked alongside vulnerable neighbours, offering hot meals, compassionate care, and pathways toward healing and transformation. Here in Victoria, this mission continues every single day.
Many men and women in our city are experiencing homelessness, hunger, and addiction. Some have lost loved ones. Others carry stories of trauma, grief, or fear they don’t know how to share with anyone. Many feel forgotten.
But when someone meets them with compassion, everything begins to change.
Every day, our Rescue Van goes directly into the heart of Victoria — bringing food, warm clothing, prayer, and a listening ear to people who often feel unseen and unheard.
A simple act of kindness offered at the right moment can open the door to stability, healing, and hope.
