Change lives

in Red Deer

Today, Red Deer’s homeless are struggling more than any other time in recent history.

Please prayerfully consider partnering with us in our final vision campaign of 2024: providing care, resources, and hope, to Red Deer’s most vulnerable.

The Need

In Red Deer right now, we are seeing a growing number of men and women who are in desperate situations. They are facing insurmountable health challenges, job loss, and housing instability.

They need food, clothing, and help accessing critical resources that will lift them out of homelessness and despair. We see deep and growing needs in our community every day – and in response, we are expanding our services to meet these needs. We know that Red Deer is a compassionate city that cares deeply about its people and always rises to face tough challenges.

The Plan

We have a plan to meet this rising need by bringing our Rescue Van operations to Red Deer. These vans actively patrol city streets as they look for vulnerable people who need help. We have seen incredible success in Edmonton and Calgary through the Rescue Van program, and now we are bringing this desperately needed lifeline to Red Deer.

The Rescue Van is stocked with vital supplies that are freely handed out to people in need. It is driven by a compassionate team who are equipped to build relationships with vulnerable people and connect them with critical resources like housing and recovery. The Rescue Van provides immediate and tangible help to people in need and can prevent future homelessness.

How you can help

We need your help today in order to cover the cost of running a Rescue Van throughout Red Deer and ensure that it is fully stocked with meals and other critically needed resources. Your help is urgently needed to provide care to our vulnerable and homeless neighbours.

This is your opportunity to invest into the life of someone who feels heartbroken, discarded, and lost. You can speak hope into the life of a vulnerable person in Red Deer by sending them food, water, warm clothing, and a compassionate team that can help them pursue a new future.
