A Christmas dinner can bring hope to someone’s life, just like it did for Thomas. Thomas had a good job and a good life. He never expected to end up at the doors of Hope Mission. “If you would have told me I’d end up here, I would have laughed at you,” he remembers. A series of difficult losses left Thomas without any resources or support systems. When he came to Hope Mission, he had hit rock bottom.
But then Thomas was welcomed into Hope Mission. He was given meals, shelter, and clothing. He enjoyed a meal in a caring community that is supporting him with critically needed resources as he gets back on his feet. There are many others across our province looking for this same hope — your help is urgently needed today to provide meals and care to people like Thomas.

This season, we are expecting to serve thousands of hot meals each day.
People from all walks of life are in need of support. Families are struggling to feed their kids, many men and women are battling addiction and homelessness, and others are dealing with a sudden job loss, medical emergencies, or other crises. A hot meal can be the first step towards a better future.
