Lead Your Team to a Different Kind of Victory
I see the dedication your athletes bring to the ice, the field, and the court. Now, I am inviting your team to channel that same competitive spirit into a powerful force for good through Cold Hands Warm Hearts, a 3km or 5km walk to help our vulnerable neighbours.
When your team joins this challenge, you aren’t just fundraising. You are becoming the essential catalyst for transformation in our city.
Your Team’s Impact
Because of your team’s compassion, our vulnerable neighbors will receive the immediate care they need to survive the winter:
- Your grit provides hot, nutritious meals for those facing hunger.
- Your hard work ensures a safe, warm bed for someone escaping the bitter cold.
- Your heart offers a pathway to recovery and transformation for those struggling with addiction.
Why Your Team Should Step Up
I have seen how a common goal off the field strengthens the bond on the field. Whether you are a hockey, baseball, soccer, or basketball team, joining Cold Hands Warm Hearts will:
- Build Character: Your athletes see firsthand how their personal compassion changes lives.
- Unify the Squad: Nothing builds team chemistry like working together to provide life-saving care.
- Demonstrate Leadership: Your team becomes a beacon of hope, showing our community what local athletes can achieve when they play for something bigger than themselves.
Compete for the Top Spot
I want to recognize the incredible effort your team puts in. To honor your dedication, I am offering prizes for the top three fundraising teams who go above and beyond for our vulnerable neighbors.
I am moved by the potential of your team’s compassion. Let’s work together to ensure no one is left out in the cold.
