Provide life-saving emergency care to the vulnerable this winter!
THE VISION
No one left in the cold this winter.

THE NEED
Unprecedented demand for safe shelter.
We are approaching the coldest and most dangerous months of the year and the needs of our homeless community are greater than ever. Vulnerable people are facing housing instability, job loss, financial difficulties, and significant mental and physical health challenges.
No one should be left out in the cold. We want to make sure that we are ready for anyone who comes to our doors looking for safe shelter, no matter the time of day or night – but we can’t do it without you. We need your help to provide safe, accessible, 24/7 shelter and compassionate care to anyone who desperately needs it.
THE PLAN
Shelter from the cold and hope for the future.
Our most vulnerable neighbours on the street desperately need a safe place to sleep at night. They need hot meals that will fill their belly and clear their mind. They need access to hot showers, laundry facilities, and resources like healthcare, housing, and recovery that will help them begin to rebuild their life.
Every day, over 900 men and women will turn to our 24/7 shelters for warmth, safety, and compassionate care. Your support can provide life-saving help to our vulnerable neighbours throughout the coldest months of winter.

Margaret’s Story
Margaret had been a homeowner, loved tending her garden, and had a job she enjoyed caring for others.
But over time, her marriage became abusive and dangerous, and she was forced to flee. Her husband controlled all their finances, leaving her with nothing. Confined to a wheelchair as she waited for surgery, Margaret was terrified of the future.
Then Margaret heard about Hope Mission. She was welcomed into our 24/7 shelter for women and, for the first time in a long time, knew she was safe. She has three hot meals a day, has a warm bed, and receives medical care while awaiting surgery.
“God bless you, because without Hope Mission, I don’t have a clue where I would be staying. I had nowhere else to go.”
Your gift helps people like Margaret can find help—especially as we approach the dangerously cold months of winter.
